The Ark - New South Wales

Integrated into North Sydney’s heritage precinct, this 21 storey commercial building incorporates many sustainable features and materials including the use of concrete supplied by HY-TEC conforming to the GBCA Mat-5 Green Star Rating.

The use of industrial bi-products such as fly ash, ground granulated blast furnace slag and air cooled slag aggregates were utilised to supply a high strength 80 & 100MPa concrete for the use in columns and post-tensioned concrete for suspended slab designs.
